West Hill Parish Council has been notified of tree works to be carried out on land north of Oak Road ref 21/1718/PRETDD. EDDC Tree Officers have agreed to the following urgent work on TPO trees:
- to reduce the length of an oak limb by between 8-10 metres by pruning back to a viable growth point at the point of the split closest to the main trunk of the tree.
- reduce a second tree by pruning it away from over the driveway
- felling of a dead holly tree and deadwood removal over the highway
Please note - this article has been corrected. The notification did not stipulate re-planting as previously stated since the holly tree to be felled was not subject to a TPO.
