22/2533/MOUT Land North of Oak Road - planning appeal update
The Parish Council has received an update on the planning appeal submitted by Morrish Homes et al with regard to the above planning application.
The Planning Inspectorate has advised WHPC that the planning appeal will now be considered by a hearing, rather than by written representations. A revised timetable will be published in due course.
Earlier this year, Ward Member Cllr Jess Bailey, WHPC and members of the public all spoke against the application at EDDC's Planning Committee and also made clear their preference for a public hearing.
Anyone wishing to make written comments may continue to do so on the Planning Inspectorate website or by emailing west1@planninginspectorate.gov.uk. Remember to quote the appeal reference in all correspondence: APP/U1105/W/23/3322776
The website still states that written comments must be received by the Inspector by 18th December 2023. A date for the hearing has not yet been published.

Any comments submitted to the Planning Inspectorate will be copied to the appellant and the local planning authority.
