News - "Missing" Defibrillator at the Village Hall
A number of people have contacted the Parish Council asking for information about the "missing" defibrillator at West Hill Village Hall.
The defibrillator was privately owned and not the responsibility of the Parish Council (or Village Hall Trustees).
The Village Hall Trustees have decided to replace the defibrillator and, acting on advice from the Parish Council, have placed an order with the South West Ambulance Service Trust (SWAST). Unfortunately installation may take some time as there is a shortage of defibrillators. The devices installed by the Parish Council for public use can be found at
- Royal British Legion Club, School Lane
- 11 Eastfield
As the Village Hall is a charitable concern, the Trustees are seeking help with the purchase costs of £2,160. They're currently fundraising and have also submitted a grant application to the Parish Council . For more information, or to make a donation, please contact the Sarah at bookings@westhillvillagehall.co.uk.
