A message from West Hill's Royal British Legion Branch + St Michael's
Due to the latest Covid-19 measures West Hill's Remembrance events on 8th and 11th Nov have been cancelled.
Wreaths will be laid by representatives of the village organisations individually rather than during a service.
It is suggested that residents wishing to pay their respects should visit the War Memorial during their daily exercise, ensuring they abide by the social distancing rules.
On Armistice Day 11th November maroons will be fired at 11.00am and 11.02am to mark the start and end of the two minutes silence. Residents are encouraged to stand outside to observe the silence.
