West Hill Parish Council is quorate once again
A Message from the Chairman, 14th July 2023
Following the resignation of a Councillor on 6th July 2023 West Hill Parish Council (WHPC) became inquorate and unable to convene quorate meetings.
At WHPC’s request, East Devon District Council has made an Order to appoint District Cllr Jess Bailey to the Parish Council under Section 91 of the Local Government Act 1972. This is a temporary appointment and will cease once the Parish Council becomes quorate through co-option or election.
An Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council has been called for
- THURSDAY 20th July 2023, 7.30pm at the Village Hall
to consider urgent matters previously scheduled for 4th July 2023. The date of the next scheduled meeting of the Parish Council will also be determined then.
The meeting is open to the public. Everyone is welcome to attend.
