Councillors were delighted to be invited to West Hill Pre-School on Wednesday 20th March to see the children enjoying a new piece of play equipment, purchased with a grant provided by the Parish Council.
The grant of £900 enabled the Pre-School to buy a miniature kitchen, complete with pots and pans, utensils and pretend food. The whole kit includes a cooker, washing machine, sink and dresser.
The children were very keen to show us around. Here is Cllr Francis Pullman having breakfast served by the children. Aren't they all adorable!
Making their decision to award the grant at the Parish Council meeting on 3rd January 2024, Councillors noted that the Pre-School is an important resource for the West Hill community and they were keen to support it.
