This morning at 10.15am a brief wreath-laying service took place at the war memorial, followed by a Church service at St Michael's to commemorate those from West Hill who gave their lives for our country.
We will remember them.
We would like to thank residents for their support and patience during the temporary road closures around the war memorial which were necessary to ensure the safety of all involved.
This is the first year that the Parish Council has officially worked with RBL branch officers in organising the event, particularly the road closures. Although it went smoothly, we have learned some lessons that we hope to take forward.
