As part of our strategy to improve the playpark we have installed a new bin for recyclables. Councillors have been monitoring the playpark bin for several months and noted that it often contained things like plastic bottles and aluminium cans which could be recycled rather than put in with general waste. At the same time, both bins have been re-sited to the verge next to the path so they don't sit in with the play equipment but are still convenient. Thanks to EDDC for doing this for us.
