Latest WHPC VAS report for 18th Dec 2020 to 6th Jan 2021

The latest West Hill VAS report is now available for 

• 18th December 2020 - 6th January 2021 (ie the Christmas holiday period)
• Location: The Vee, Junction of Bendarroch Road and West Hill Road
• Over the period 10,530 vehicles passed the sign. 
• Each day, 50-60% of total vehicles, exceeded the 20mph speed limit.
• The average speed of speeding vehicles was between 24mph and 25mph.
• The maximum speed recorded was 45mph at 5.55am on 22nd Dec.

Please note that it will take some time for Councillors to develop the optimum report layout. The VAS unit collects detailed vehicle speed/time/date information and we will be refining the report over the coming weeks/months as we interrogate the data.  Please remember we can only report data if it is collected by the VAS.
